Designing an AI grocery app focused on savings
Background
This personal project explored how AI can revolutionize the grocery shopping experience. Most apps today focus on transactions, but miss out on personalization, budgeting, and intelligent assistance.
So I designed an AI-driven app that auto-generates shopping lists based on user behavior, tracks real-time prices across stores, and includes a smart dashboard for budgeting and savings. It also features an inbuilt AI chatbot for spending insights and grocery guidance.
The result was a functional, future-facing concept that blends utility with delight — proving how thoughtful product design can make everyday tasks like grocery shopping feel effortless and smart.
As a personal exploration, this project is a deep dive into combining AI, finance, and everyday utility. The final concept will bring together intelligent list creation, real-time savings, and spending insights — all wrapped in a clean, user-first interface.
